Hi, I’m Gina, born near Enschede Netherlands. My dad put me on skis at the age of three. Since that time, I’m a passionate skier. In 2008, this passion encouraged my move to Basel, Switzerland. Soon, the big question arose: What am I going to do in the summer?
My hiking career then began and made me become a true mountain lover. In my free time, I can be found outside hiking, trekking, skiing, climbing, mountaineering or trail running. I love them all.
Mountains give me tranquility, relaxation and adventure. Every single experience shapes me and makes me realize more that I’m not born to sit at a desk all day. I’ve taken most of my friends trekking in the Swiss Alps, and I loved guiding them. Therefore, the idea was born to transform my hobby and passion into my career. Since a couple of years I am a Mountain Leader at the Swiss Mountain Guide Association (SBV).
Adventure trekking in the Alps is a journey that 1000 words cannot begin to describe. I would like to be your guide in experiencing your own trekking adventure. It is my pleasure to plan, organize and guide you on your dream trip. You only need to focus on having an adventure you’ll remember for a lifetime.
I am a fluent communicator in Dutch, German, French and English.
