General Terms and Conditions (AGB)
Group tours
Are tours published by Alpine Trekking Adventures on the website www.hiqueen.ch or in other organs. The composition of the group is determined by the registered participants. Accommodation and prices according to the announcement.
Individual Tours
These are tours that you can book and experience with Alpine Trekking Adventures in a selected group or as an individual guest. This applies to private individuals, but also to companies, clubs and schools. The destination of the tour and the size of the group are determined not only by the individual wishes of the guests but also by the safety factor. The prices depend on the size of the group and are agreed upon in advance.
Registration
You can register with the registration form by mail or e-mail, but you can also register by telephone. By registering, the participant accepts the general terms and conditions. Please register for the tour as early as possible.
Confirmation
After receipt of your registration you will receive a confirmation from Alpine Trekking Adventures. With this confirmation your registration becomes legally valid.
General tariffs
The rates are generally based on the recommendations of the Swiss Mountain Guide Association (https://sbv-asgm.ch/tarife-und-avbs/#toggle-id-4) and are agreed in writing with the guest before the tour.
Payment
The advertised or agreed amount must be paid on the day of the tour. For tours lasting several days, Alpine Trekking Adventures reserves the right to demand payment before the tour begins.
Services
The price includes the costs of the guide and half board as described in the programm. Drinks, snacks and transport costs are not included in the price.
Programme changes
Due to weather conditions, Alpine Trekking Adventures may postpone, cancel or replace tours with another destination after consultation with the participants. The trekking guide is entitled to change the programm for safety reasons (e.g. avalanche danger) as well as in case of unforeseeable events. Additional costs resulting from changes to the programm are to be borne by the participants.
Personal, health requirements
Good health and good physical condition is essential for the safety and success of the tour. Participants are obliged to inform the management in good time of any health problems.
Duties
The participants undertake to
- to follow the instructions of the guide
- on mutual consideration and recognition, comradeship and helpfulness
- to environmentally conscious behavior
During the tour the hiking guide is available for the overall management of the group and only in exceptional cases for the personal care of individual guests. The hiking guide decides in the interest of the group and safety. The instructions given must be followed.
Cancellation by participants
Cancellation after successful registration must be communicated to Alpine Trekking Adventures in any case in good time and if possible in writing. A possible cancellation can be charged as follows: Up to 10 days before the start of the tour 50% of the price. 10 to 0 days before the start of the tour 100% of the price. If a tour is cancelled early by a participant, there is no right to a refund
Liability
As a certified and qualified hiking guide, I offer the greatest possible safety during the tour. When hiking and snowshoeing, however, a minimal residual risk cannot be excluded. By registering, you expressly acknowledge these risks and waive any claims for damages or liability to Alpine Trekking Adventures with regard to this residual risk.
The participation is at your own risk.
Accident and health insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies to all disputes, irrespective of the value of the damage and nationality, and Swiss courts have jurisdiction. The place of jurisdiction is Basel Switzerland.
